Creating a sustainable society

Basic philosophy

Yamamoto Trading Co,.LTD. recognises that natural resources are finite and that one of its management tasks is to give constant consideration to the preservation of the global environment.

Aiming for harmony between corporate activities and the global environment, all employees are actively involved in resource saving, resource recycling and energy saving, and furthermore, actively market products with reduced environmental impact, thereby contributing to the safety and development of society.

 


SDGs

We will contribute to society and our stakeholders through SDGs management, through the sale of chemical products such as color materials and various proposals, for a colorful and vibrant society.

 

We focus on the following six target objectives.


 

In October 2021, we received the highest certification (two stars) as a leading company for women’s activities in Osaka City.

The City of Osaka started the ‘Leading Company Certification Programme for Women’s Activities’ in FY2014.
This is a system for certifying small and medium-sized enterprises that are actively working to improve the working environment for women, and our company received certification on 1 December 2017 as a ‘Challenge Company’ for promoting women’s activities, in recognition of our no-overtime days, flexible leave system and introduction of a childcare and nursing care leave system, which are the criteria for this certification. The company was certified on 1 December 2017 as a ‘Challenge Company’ for the promotion of women’s activities.
On 1 October 2021, the company was again certified as a leading company for women’s activities in Osaka City, and was awarded the highest rank of two stars.

 


 

Selected for the sixth time as a ‘Health Management Excellence Corporation 2022’.(Sixth time)

As of 9 March 2022, our company was registered as a ‘Health Management Excellence Corporation 2022’.
For the sixth time, 2,299 corporations in the Large Corporations category and 12,255 corporations in the Small and Medium Corporations category,
The Japan Health Council has accredited them.
Period of accreditation: 9 March 2022 – 31 March 2023

 


 


 

 


 

RSPO (Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil) certification, May 2021.

In May 2021, the company registered as an associate member of the RSPO and obtained a distributor licence as a supply chain certification.

 


 

In 2005, we obtained ISO 14001

From early on, we have worked on the efficient use of resources and energy and the establishment of an environmental management system, and in 2005 we received an ISO 14001 registration certificate.
